This dedicated organisation believe that everyone deserves a safe and affordable home, and as the team continue to grow they are searching for experienced Housing Officers to help deliver safe, secure, and sustainable tenancies for their residents across Victoria.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work directly with residents to:
- Manage tenancy relationships : supporting people to sustain long-term housing.
- Manage the end-to-end tenancy process including rent arrears, property inspections, and tenancy risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Allocations, NDIS, Sustainment) to deliver integrated tenancy support.
- Maintain accurate tenancy records and compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act and SDA (Specialist Disability Accommodation) requirements.
You will have a stronger focus on customer service, tenancy sustainment, and building trusted relationships.
We’re Looking For People Who:
- Have experience managing tenancies (ideally in social, community, or public housing)
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence, particularly when working with vulnerable people.
- Understand the complex challenges facing tenants at risk of homelessness or disadvantage.
- Are highly organised, compassionate, and able to work collaboratively across teams.
- Can navigate housing regulations and keep clear, professional records.
- Are eager to grow and learn, including in areas like NDIS and SDA housing.
- Qualifications in housing, social services, or related fields (or equivalent experience)
You must agree to undergo any required employment screening, including but not limited to a National Criminal History or Police Check, Working with Children or Vulnerable Persons Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
